Shree
Digambar Jain was founded by Shree Ahinsha Prachar Samity in the year
1956. The magnificent 7 storied school building is situated in the
heart of Kolkata in burra bazar near Satynarayan Park. At present
the school is up to the higher secondary level having primary,
secondary and higher secondary sections. Its primary section and secondary
sections follows teaching in Hindi and English medium in day time.
Higher secondary section follows teaching in English medium. The
School is affiliated by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and
Higher Secondary Education.
The results of class 10 and class 12 of this School in boards
examination remains cent per cent. At present there are 1015 students, 47
teachers and 12 other employees in this school. Several extra curricular activates,
debates, N.C.C, , scouting , music , computer training , etc. are the
extra attraction beside regular studies. Beside regular courses Digambar
jain darmas teaching is also imparted to the students in primary and
secondary sections.

Vidyalaya was founded by Shree Ahinsha Prachar Samity in the year 1960 to
spread women education in Kolkata. The school building is
located at 211,Maharishi Devendra Road, Kolkata. The Balika Vidyalaya is up to
the Higher Secondary level having primary, secondary and higher secondary
sections. The medium of instructions is English. Apart from regular
courses, other extra curricular activates such as Music. Craft, Dance,
computer training, etc facilities are provided to the students. The
Digambar Jain Dharma teaching is also imparted to the students
regularly. At present there
are 740 girls students in this school along with 38 teaching
and non teaching staff.

then 10,000 collection of books on Jain Dharma. The library also houses a
huge collection of rare book and manuscripts on jain literature.

institutions under Shree Ahinsha Prachar Samity.

Computer Academy is equipped with modern computers including
Internet , well richer computer library and a qualified staff. The Computer
Academy provides computer education to the students of Shree Digambar Jain
Vidyalaya and Shree Mahabir Digambar Jain Vidyalya. It also offers
advanced courses to laymen and people of the society in minimum
